The DAAD Scholarship, the German Academic Exchange Service funds more than 100,000 scholars each year, German and international students get an opportunity to pursue their masters, doctoral, and post-doctoral studies at minimum cost. Moreover, the beneficiary of different scholarships gets a monthly allowance of a minimum of €750 during their studies in Germany.

The Scholarships programmes of DAAD are the foundation of the organization. It supports nearly 140,000 scholars and has a capital of 522 million Euros. Scholarships are available from any of DAAD’s 365 member organizations in fields including as chemical engineering, linguistics, and musical performance.

Eligibility requirements to apply for DAAD Scholarship:-

  • The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree that is at least 6 years old in order to be eligible for a DAAD scholarship.
  • Candidates must have finished their previous degree with an average of at least 85 percent to be considered.
  • At least two years of work experience is required, which can include field research, employment, or a graduate assistantship.
  • Candidates at qualified German institutions must have obtained an invitation letter from their authorities.
