Hochschule Anhalt- Anhalt University of Applied Sciences is a union of three campuses located at three different places: Köthen, Bernburg, and Dessau. It is a vocational university based in Köthen, Saxony, Anhalt, which was founded in 1991. Mechanical engineering, Economics, Agriculture, Design, and Architecture are among the primary courses available. In all subjects, the courses include experimental learning.
The University is either run in English or in a dual language format (German and English). Around 8000 students are enrolled in the university, with 2000 international students from diverse nations. Student assistants may be hired to assist full-time researchers and may also be hired as tutors. They may be assigned work for departmental and central administration in addition to supporting the research staff if the tasks are beneficial to their study. On the 1st of each month, Anhalt University of Applied Sciences and the student assistant must present a formal employment contract that is effective for one month. Before the employment ends, the employment contract must be completed. Wages are computed using the monthly working hours indicated in the job contract and paid to the student assistant’s bank account at the end of the month.
